Archives of Physiotherapy (AoP) is an international, indexed, peer-reviewed, open access, online only journal, published once a year disseminating research covering all aspects of physiotherapy.

Featured topics include clinical trials, diagnostic studies,  measurement-focused research, observational studies, prognostic investigations, qualitative studies, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and case reports which fall into several disability domains.

In addition to research articles, the Editorial Board invites expert and eminent authors to contribute to the Masterclass series.

Archives of Physiotherapy adopts a double-blind peer review process, where both the identify of reviewers and of the authors are not known to each other. Full details on the peer review process and editorial policies can be found here.

Archives of Physiotherapy (AoP) publishes new articles as soon as they receive final approval from the authors and are assigned page numbers (online first, as customary now for scientific journals) and then collected in an issue, to guarantee rapid publication times and a timely content availability for its indexing databases. Authors retain the copyright of their article published in Archives of Physiotherapy (AoP) are free to reproduce and disseminate their work. Full details can be found here.
