Aims and Scope
Archives of Physiotherapy (AoP) is an international, indexed, peer-reviewed, open access, online only journal, published once a year, disseminating research covering all aspects of physiotherapy.
Featured topics include clinical trials across various disability domains (musculoskeletal, neurological, cardio-pulmonary), diagnostic studies, measurement-focused research, observational studies, prognostic investigations, qualitative studies, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and case reports.
In addition to research articles, the AoP board also invites expert and eminent authors to contribute to the Masterclass series.
Archives of Physiotherapy (AoP) adopts a double-anonymized peer-review process, which means that both reviewer identity and author identity are not visible to one another, reviewer and author identity are visible to the editors. Archives of Physiotherapy (AoP) publishes new articles as soon as they receive final approval from the authors and are assigned page numbers (online first, as customary now for scientific journals) and then collected in an issue, to guarantee rapid publication times and a timely content availability for its indexing databases.
